OBJECTIVE:
The sound from the engine after the exhaust modification wasn't as mean as I wanted it to be. So I had to
modify the air intake filter to achieve my goal.
SOLUTION:
Although this setup is not a true Cold Air Intake, it is similar to Stillen's Hi-Flow or Jim Wolf Technology's
Pop Charger intake with a fraction of the cost. At the time of making this custom air intake, I couldn't find any aftermarket
performance part for the 97-01 Q45's. The only thing that I found was the air intakes that I mentioned above. After taking
a close look at those, I see nothing special from their intake. They consist of the air filter and the adapter. So I
bought a kit of intake air filter and adapter for a 95-99 Sentra 1.6L from eBay. They fit perfectly. This is how they look
